One visit a year keeps your solar powered barriers safe and dependable, and leaves you with a documented check for your health and safety records. Registering takes a couple of minutes.

How servicing works
Register your barriers
Tell us how many Dofygates you have and where they are working. Use the form below or call 01263 493102.
Agree a date
We schedule the visit around your programme and send a reminder each year, so it is never missed.
Inspection and report
We check and test every barrier, highlight any parts showing wear and give you a written report for the file.
The checklist
What we check
- Battery health and solar charging performance
- Boom, folding hinge, clutch and arm lock
- Obstruction detection and every safety function
- Remotes, plus any keypads, intercoms or sensors
- Base, fixings, covers and arm signage
Between visits
If anything seems wrong, ring us. Many problems can be put right together over the phone; if not, we exchange the barrier and a replacement reaches you within 48 hours.
Troubleshooting tip. A barrier that slows down or stops short of closing usually has a low battery. Recharge or swap the battery first, particularly after a long run of grey weather. Our solar powered barriers guide has more on winter running.
